Architecture in Education (AIE) Program

Architecture in Education is a STE[A]M focused, Florida-standards based, educational program by the Florida Foundation for Architecture. Architecture in Education (AIE) is a dynamic, eight- to 10-week, curriculum-enrichment program that matches professional architects with classroom teachers. AIE sharpens a student’s math, social studies, art and other core academics with real-life, project-based learning. The Anstis Fund is available to provide financial assistance for components that would like to incorporate AIE in their local schools.

Crawford Tracey Corporation generously sponsored an annual raffle to benefit the AIE program. In 2023, the raffle raised $3,680.

Open Door Program

The Foundation Open Door Program is a state-wide initiative that invites members of the public into well-known public buildings for behind-the-scenes tours. Each year, buildings that are part of the AIA Florida People's Choice Competition are opened to the public to provide Florida residents and visitors alike a chance to see the building from a different perspective. More information on other Foundation events are provided here.

One of the top ten winners, The Jim Moran Building, held an Open-Door event in October 2019.
