Relevance of Architecture

AIA Florida Relevance of Architecture Study
Statewide Research Initiative

Relevance of Architecture Study

AIA Florida is conducting a statewide study to better understand the value of architects and architecture, the challenges facing the profession, and how that value can be more effectively communicated to clients, communities and decision-makers.

Initiated by the AIA Florida Strategic Council, led by Past President Rhonda Hammond, AIA, and Immediate Past President Elizabeth Camargo, AIA, the study is being conducted in partnership with PENN Creative.

The research includes two surveys designed to gather perspectives from both those who provide architectural services and those who procure them. Together, these insights will help identify opportunities to strengthen the profession, improve collaboration and demonstrate the value architects bring to projects and communities.

We invite you to participate in the survey that best reflects your role. Each survey takes approximately 7–10 minutes to complete.

Survey Deadline: November 2, 2026

November 2 is the last day to participate. Please complete your survey by the deadline to ensure your perspective is included in the study.
