PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Review electro-mechanical products and their proper uses relating to access control systems, functionality, codes, standards, and aesthetics.
LearningObjectives:
Develop a basic understanding of the following:
- The types of hardware that can be electrified and their practical function
- Required components necessary to complete asystem
- Importance and use of Riser and Elevation Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, and other details related to electrified openings in the Construction Documents
- Codes, standards and accessibilityrequirements associatedwith the use of electrified door hardware
